We are thinking of staying there 5 days and a small place (non-all-inclusive) place for the first 5 days. Also while in Cancun, we use to go to a little Bar called My Place (good music, good people mostly over 30) Do you have any favorite little Bar in PDC? 3. I have a tendency to favor them all. You'll see what I mean when you get there. Some do have a "theme" or a specialty. The sports bars ( Tequila Barrel and End Zone) are popular and good sized. Check out the small hotel bars... Rooms are huge, showers will hold at least 4 people. Try to get Ocean View Jr. Suite or OF Jr. suite. Only two blocks to town which makes a great nightly walk (walk off all that food). By all means, if you stayed at the Riu Palace, I think you would enjoy the Royal Playa the best.

Don't forget to get a $20 massage(1 hour)at one of the places along the beach. Have a great time. 6. Andbod, I was there in 2009 before the restoration so the Royal side could be better now. Hi maxinerEssexUK I was at the GPR in February 2011. The beach in front of the resort is rocky. The ocean front room with the best view is 355.
